This summer it's been all about the easy no-brainer outfits for me and shorts with a cute tank top is pretty much my default setting these days. While I do love wearing white shorts I think this is going to be the last summer for these ones in particular since I want to get a pair that looks a little more streamlined. Still these gave me some great times and cute outfits :)

JB and I went up to Duluth this weekend to see his parents and we had a wonderful time! I will share a few pics of that since we went on a couple nature walks on some parks that make it hard to believe you're in the middle of a city :)

Happy Monday guys! How was your weekend?

Blue shirt, striped skirt and sandals. This is just too easy but I love the vibe of it. It doesn't look lazy but it is super casual and cute and can easily be dressed up for night time. Add a blazer and heels and you're done. I *kind of* wish I had infinite color variations of this to wear all summer round. I might go shopping.

I should tell you I am not wearing this today. I should tell you because JB is taking me golfing. I have never played golf before. This is going to be embarrassing even if I don't accidentally flash anyone by wearing a skirt.

What are you up to this weekend?

Yup, this is how I know I'm old. I went to JB's 10 year High School reunion las friday. I know I should say he's the one getting old but technically we are both from the class of '03 I just graduated younger *wink*

Even though JB said that only about 10% of the class made it to the reunion it was still an incredibly fun night and we all agreed that I would have fit right in had I gone to their High School. Although let's face it, they just liked me because I made a fool of myself dancing to N'sync and the backstreet boys (some choreography included)

I kept it pretty monochromatic with a black and white outfit but pumped it up with red lip and nails for the ocassion--I wanted something fun but it wasn't my reunion after all. Also, I was going to get ready when we got to the hotel but we got stuck in traffic on the way to JB's hometown so I forgot all jewelry. Oh well.

Overall it was a blast and it made me really excited for mine at the end of the year. Hope I can make it!
Have you gone to yours already? Was it what you expected?
